Pucón City tour (Entrance to the mountain)
Pucón city, is known as the adventure tourism capital, is located 780 Kms away from Santiago and 100 Kms from Temuco (Water of Temu, native three). Due to its privileged natural surroundings, next to volcanoes, lakes, rivers, parks and spas is possible to develop tourism throughout the year. The predominant architectural style in this city is of mountain, with influence by German colonists. The town is small so we will enjoy a relaxing tours along the Playa Grande of Villarrica Lake or formerly called Mallolafquen (Lake of white clay), Pucón Hotel, Square, Santa Cruz Church and craft fairs. Then we visit the La Poza Pier, typical wooden flowers, Mapuche museum and the Cloister of Clarisas Nuns where we will have a panoramic view of the city ideal to take some photograph.

Area tour
Taking northeast direction our tour begins in a classic, The Ojos Del Caburgua (Digging with a wooden spoon), a set of waterfalls formed by groundwater from the Caburgua Lake, our second destination. During the summer the Caburgua's beaches are suitable for water sports and enjoy the sun, in the winter the place is ideal for walks and watch the snowy mountains. Taking an internally road, and to finish our tour, we will visit Tinquilco Lake (Calm waters) in the base of the Huequehue National Park (Place of messengers).

Puesco Locality (Water from east)
Distant 40 Kms from Pucón (Entrance to the mountain) is Curarrehue (Altar of Stone). In this village mostly inhabited by the Mapuche (People of the earth), establishing the "Trawupeyüm (Meeting place) Intercultural Village". It is a museum and cultural center run by local people, and are themselves who tell us about their traditions, history and exquisite cuisine. Following with the tour we got to Quilleihue Lagoon (Lagoon and passage of tears), in this place we walk through a self-guided trail of 30 minutes duration, which speaks us about the birds inhabiting the place. Continuing to our destination, we discovered a bit about typical Andean landscape, full of lengas, ñirres and araucarias. If we are lucky we can sight the Andean Condor, a large bird that is symbol of The Andes. When you reach the crossing point Mamuil Malal (Corral of sticks), which divides the localities of Puesco (Water from east) in Chile and Tromen (Totora, native plant) in Argentina, we enjoying spectacular views of the Volcano Lanin (Which is sinking).

Volcanic caves and ski center
In south direction, 15 Kms away from Pucón (Entrance to the mountain), is Volcanic caves. Our tour begins at Rucadehuin (Volcano's house), where we going to hear an interesting presentation about how the tunnel was formed, statistics, types of risks and we will see some pictures of the eruptions of the Villarrica or Rucapillan Volcano (The devil’s house). Then we visit the inside of the Renu (Cave) or lava tunnel (as it is known in geology) formed by a massive volcano eruption. This cave has been empowered to scientific and cultural tours, in an extension of 500 meters in length. The tour includes a visit of about an hour to ski center to take some photographs and appreciate the panoramic view of the city.
